Michelle Lynn Monaghan was born on March 23 of 1976. Her leading roles include Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) and Gone Baby Gone (2008). The actress was also famous for Gone Baby Gone (2008), Made of Honor (2008) and Trucker (2008). Source Code (2011), Pixels (2015) and Patriots Day (2016). Her character was Julia Meade, the main character of Mission: Impossible's action-spy show Mission: Impossible (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011), Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018) was recognized. Monaghan also starred in the debut season of True Detective (2014) as Maggie Hart. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award, Best Supporting Actress. In addition, she acted as Sarah Lane in the drama series The Path (2016-18). Monaghan played the role of Eva Geller on the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah. The show was cancelled after only one season. Monaghan was the daughter of Sharon Hammel and Robert Monaghan (a factory worker) and was born in Winthrop, Iowa. Bob as well as John are her two older brothers. Monaghan, who is mostly from Irish and German origin, was raised Catholic and graduated from East Buchanan High School 1994. After graduation, Monaghan relocated to Chicago to pursue journalism studies and began modeling. She has modeled in Milan and Tokyo, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and the United States. There was only one semester left to complete her journalism education in 1999, she moved to New York to pursue an acting career. Modeling was her forte, appearing in several catalogs and magazines prior to making her acting debut. Monaghan's first two credited television appearances, as a support role and as Caroline Busse in episodes of Young Americans, which aired in 2000. She also performed on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in "Consent", an episode that was broadcast on the 19th of January 2001. She also made her first big-screen appearance that same year in Perfume as the character of Henrietta. The next film she appeared in, in a supporting role, was in 2002 in Unfaithful in which she starred Richard Gere and Diane Lane.
