Emily Swallow

American actress Emily Swallow was born December 18th, 1979. Her performances in The Mentalist as Kim Fischer and Supernatural as Amara/The Darkness are her most known. The actress is also famous for her character as The Armorer on the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also a part of the video game The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on the 18th of December, 1979, in Washington, D.C. Her family grew up in Sterling, Virginia, as well as Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow began her acting career at Stanton College Preparatory School. She also performed in professional and amateur theater productions. Swallow graduated with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She continued the course to pursue an MFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. She performed in the world premieres of Donald Margulies' play The Country House at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse and was paired with Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkins' production of Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theatre, and in John Patrick Shanley's musical Romantic Poetry at Manhattan Theater Club. (citation needed) She was awarded the Falstaff Award in 2010 for the best female actress for the part in the role of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. In 2012, Swallow and Jac Huberman created a stage production titled Jac N Swallow. It was performed at Joe's Pub as well as the Laurie Beeckman Theater in New York. The show revolves around their hilarious mishaps in dealing with diverse situations in their lives.
