Thora Birch

Thora Birch was born March 11th on 1982. She is an American actor, producer and director. She made her film debut in Purple People Eater (1988) and was awarded the Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actress under Nine Years of Age". Birch gained notoriety as a child star through appearances in films like All I Want for Christmas (1991), Patriot Games (1992), Hocus Pocus (1993), Monkey Trouble (1994), Now and Then (1995), and Alaska (1996).Her first major role came in 1999 when she starred as Jane Burnham in the highly popular film American Beauty, for which she was awarded a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The following year, she was a part-time actress in Ghost World (2001) as Enid. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. Birch was also nominated for an Emmy Award in 2003 for her performance as the title character of Homeless to Harvard:The Liz Murray Story. Birch was also featured in Dungeons & Dragons (2000) and The Hole (2001), Silver City (2004) and Dark Corners (2006). She was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2003. Birch has also appeared in the role of Whisperer Mary/ Gamma on The Walking Dead's Season 10. Birch was born in Los Angeles, the eldest child of Jack Birch and Carol Connors. Birch, whose family originally was named Biersch, is German-Jewish and Scandinavian. She also is French-Canadian French-Canadian and Italian heritage.  The name Thora, which she has adopted, is derived form the name of Thora, the Norse god of thunder and lightning ("Thor") that could be her name if she were a boy. Kian Bolt Birch is her younger brother. Both of her parents played actors in adult movies and appeared in Deep Throat. They were not keen to support Thora because of their experiences working in the entertainment industry. But a babysitter noticed Thora performing commercials in a similar way and got them to show Thora's image to agents. Birch was only four years old when she got her first big break when her babysitter took her on a audition for a Quaker Oats advertisement.

Milena Govich is a director, actor, and musician who has directed many episodes of TV that include The Equalizer (2021), Chicago Med (2015), FBI: Most Wanted (2020), Chicago Fire (2012) and Chicago Fire (2012), among others.
