Kelly was raised in South Carolina with her two older sisters, Kaitlyn (and
Carolyn) and her mother, Carolyn. But, Kelly hasn't shared any information
about her parents, including their names, or their occupations. As a kid, she
was a fan of baseball and her father. Kelly obtained a Bachelor's Degree in
Youth Development Leadership from Clemson in South Carolina when she was
graduated from high school. The University of Miami was her second choice and
she earned a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism. Kelly was a member of the
ACC Digital Network during her internship. She also served as a production
assistant. After receiving an offer for a job, Kelly joined the ACC Digital
Networks. Kelly started her career as a reporter for sports and conducted
interviews on Saturdays during "ACC Kickoff", a Saturday-only news
program. She stayed with the network for two years until 2013 when she also
contributed to the program "ACC NOW". After her time on ACC Digital
Network, she was hired as an Fox Sports Florida sideline reporter. Because of
her hard work, Fox Sports Sun recruited her to cover the Tampa Bay Rays',
Orlando Magic's, as well as Tampa Bay Lightning franchises. She was a reporter
on breaking news and other information regarding the clubs.
