Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Claire (born on the 17th of January, 1980) is an American model and actress. She is also a musician, singer, and songwriter. Her first film appearance was in Mumford (1999) and she played a supporting part in Cameron Crowe’s film Almost Famous (2000). Deschanel is well-known for her comedic parts in comedy films, such as The Good Girl (2002), The New Guy (2002), Elf (2003), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005), Failure to Launch (2006), Yes Man (2008), 500 Days of Summer (2009) and Our Idiot Brother (2011). Deschanel has also ventured into dramatic film territory in the form of Manic (2001), All the Real Girls (2006), Winter Passing 2005, Bridge to Terabithia (2008), The Happening (2008) The Happening (2008), and The Driftless Area (2015). She was Jessica Day's star on the sitcom Fox's New Girl between 2011 and in the year. The show received three Golden Globe Awards nominations, and also Primetime Emmy Awards nominations. Deschanel was first seen on the stage in the jazz cabaret If All the Stars Were Pretty Babies in 2001, performed for several years. Deschanel collaborated with M. Ward in 2006 and released their debut album called Volume One. The duo has released five albums since then including Volume Two (2010) and A Very She & Him Christmas (2011). Volume 3 (2013) was their final album. Classics 2014 was their fifth.
