Kellie Martin
Kellie Martin,
born October 16, 1975 is an American actress. Her roles include Rebecca
"Becca", Daphne Blake in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (1988-1991), Christy
Huddleston (1994-1995), Lucy Knight (1998-2000), Samantha Kinsey on Mystery
Woman TV series (2003-2007), Hailey Dean in Hailey Dean Mystery TV series
(2016-present). Martin was born in Riverside (California) to Debbie (Jett), a
kindergarten teacher, and Doug Martin (a department store executive and buyer).
She began acting at the age of seven after her aunt, who served as a nanny for
actor Michael Landon's children, helped her land an appearance on the Michael
Landon-produced show Father Murphy. When she was 11 years old she appeared in
Young People's Week of the Bob Eubanks-hosted Card Sharks. Martin was a regular
participant on Valerie's Family The Hogans season 3 (1987-1988). In 1988 and
1991, she played also the voice of Daphne Blake in the animated series A Pup
Named Scooby-Doo. Martin took on the role of Rebecca "Becca", Thacher
in the family drama Life Goes On. This was broadcast for four seasons on ABC.
Martin also played the role of Emily in the 1989 series Troop Beverly Hills,
starring Shelley Long. Martin also appeared in the 1989 pilot of America's
Funniest Home Videos.
