Miesha Theresa Tate, born on August 18,
1986, is an American mixed martial artist. Tate is currently an UFC Women's
Bantamweight Champion and is a participant in the Ultimate Fighting
Championship (UFC). Tate was earlier an Strikeforce female bantamweight
champion. Tate was vice-president of ONE Championship. Tate is currently 13th
in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings on July 18, 2022. Tate was the
daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. She was born in Tacoma, Washington
by Tate. Tate was a boy in her early years and would often play in the
playground with other boys. Tate was an Franklin Pierce High School student,
was keen on a sport and eventually chose wrestling over basketball. In her
first year until her graduation, she was a wrestler for the team for boys.
"I was pretty proficient in being kicked in the butt for the first couple
of weeks. Tate admitted that she had no clue what she was doing. Tate recalled
her experiences in the year 2011. In 2005, Tate participated at the state
championships for girls and was awarded the title. Tate was a student at
Central Washington University when a friend suggested she take part in the
mixed martial arts group (MMA). "I attended, and it was packed with
wrestlers. Tate said he was an ideal fit. Tate admitted that initially, he was
unsure about participating in MMA.
